One evening, after closing her practice for the day, young doctor Jenny hears the doorbell ring, but doesn’t answer it. The next day, the police inform her that an unidentified young woman has been found dead close by. Weighed down by guilt and thoughts of the unknown girl, she searches out the identity of the young girl and tries to discover who, or what, was responsible for her death.
